Ahead of the general elections in 2027, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chapter in Benue State has reaffirmed its unity and readiness while distancing itself from the coalition led by the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
The party warned that disobedience to the direction will result in disciplinary action and encouraged its members to avoid the ADC coalition and any gatherings connected to it in a press release signed by State Chairman Rt. Hon. Ezekiel A. Adaji.
“The state chapter of the PDP clearly distances herself from the ADC-adopted coalition and implores members to refrain from attending their meetings or joining the coalition.
“Any disregard for this directive will attract distinct disciplinary measures,” the statement read.
Adaji emphasized that the PDP is still a powerful, unified, and accommodative platform dedicated to offering the people of Benue State and Nigeria as a whole credible leadership and governance options.
In order to evaluate accomplishments, resolve issues, and choose a strategic path forward, he also disclosed that the party would shortly call a meeting of the state extended executive council (EXCO).
