2027: ‘Nigerians need you’ – Ex-presidential aspirant begs Jonathan

Mathias Baba Tsado, a former Action Democratic Party (ADP) presidential candidate, has urged former president Goodluck Jonathan to run for office again in 2027.

When Tsado was answering questions on Channels Television’s The Morning Brief on Tuesday, he made this plea.

He underlined that Nigerians depend on him to turn around the dire circumstances that the nation is currently facing.

He claims that many politicians’ desires and ambitions are reflected in the position the former Nigerian leader currently holds.

“He’s not somebody who is desperate to be in government. You remember when he said his ambition is not worth the blood of any Nigerian. And someone said recently that President Goodluck Jonathan lost the election in 2015 but gained people.

“And at the moment, I think that is what is working for him. Who will not ride on such kind of this? Yes, he has not declared that he wants to run for election. But for somebody like me, I am praying for a day that he will come out and declare that he wants to run.

“Come and run, sir, because Nigerian people today, they need you. Nothing is working,” he said.
