After a court decision that stopped the party’s planned national convention, the National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) suspended Senator Samuel Anyanwu as the Party’s National Secretary, Kamaldeen Ajibade as its Legal Advisor, Okechukwu Osuoha as its Deputy Legal Advisor, and Umaru Bature as its National Organizing Secretary for a month.
Debo Ologunagba, the party’s national publicity secretary, revealed this to the media on Saturday.
According to Ologunagba, the decision was made at an emergency NWC meeting that was conducted on Saturday at Legacy House, the party’s Abuja office.
“The NWC, in line with the party’s constitution, came to the following conclusion: the National Legal Adviser, Kamaldeen Ajibade, SAN; Deputy Legal Adviser, Okechukwu Osuoha; National Secretary, Senator Samuel Anyanwu; and National Organizing Secretary have been suspended for one month and referred to the PDP Disciplinary Committee,” he said.
