In order to show his support and dedication, Rowland Dennis, the Abia State House of Assembly representative for the Isiala Ngwa South constituency, visited Governor Alex Otti.

After being suspended by his ward for alleged anti-party activity, the lawmaker defected on Tuesday and joined the Labour Party (LP).

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), his former party, has already condemned his defection.

Photographs given to reporters by Ukoha Njoku Ukoha, the chief press secretary to the governor of Abia State, verified that Otti welcomed the new LP member who paid him a visit.

The CPS did not, however, disclose the specifics of the meeting between the governor and the lawmaker.
