Renowned Nigerian actress Faithia Williams Balogun has shared the news of her mother’s death.

She revealed this only a few hours after celebrating her 55th birthday.

On Monday morning, the actress explained that her mother passed away on the eve of the celebration on Sunday, but the heartbreaking information was withheld from her until the event had ended.

She also appealed to her supporters and the public to remember her and her siblings in their prayers.

Faithia celebrated her birthday in Lagos on Sunday.

Notable personalities at the gathering included Funke Akindele, musician Pasuma, Kazim Adeoti, Wumi Ajiboye, MC Oluomo, and others.
