AFCON 2023: How Super Eagles can beat Cameroon – Eguavoen

In order to defeat the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon, the Super Eagles must perform to the highest level, according to Augustine Eguavoen, Technical Director of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

On Saturday, the Super Eagles and Indomitable Lions will play for a spot in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations quarterfinals.

The Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium in Abidjan is scheduled to host the Round of 16 match.

According to Eguavoen, the Super Eagles need to take the game seriously.

“Cameroon will always come with determination and grit. We have to be even more prepared for them and deploy the greater flair and flexibility that we have,” Eguavoen told thenff.com.

At 9 pm Nigerian time, the game will begin.
