AFCON 2025: Super Eagles squad numbers unveiled

The Confederation of African Football, CAF, has released the Super Eagles’ squad numbers for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, according to ZINGTIE.

Talismanic attacker Victor Osimhen will keep his number 9, while newly appointed captain Wilfred Ndidi will wear his normal number 4.

Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, a Lazio midfielder, will wear the legendary number 10, while Ademola Lookman, Samuel Chukwueze, and Frank Onyeka will continue to wear numbers 7, 11, and 8, respectively.

Salim Fago, Ebenezer Akinsanmiro, Ryan Alebiosu, and Tochukwu Nnadi are the new invitees, wearing numbers 25, 26, 27, and 28, respectively.

The Super Eagles are aiming for their fourth title in Morocco.

Eric Chelle’s team will face the Taifa Stars of Tanzania in Fès next Tuesday.
