AFCON: Dursun reveals Osimhen’s major weakness

Kocaelispor striker Serdar Dursun has exposed Victor Osimhen’s primary vulnerability.

According to Dursun, Osimhen’s main issue is that he does not finish as well as his Galatasaray teammate Mauro Icardi.

Dursun, speaking on Ertem Şener’s YouTube channel, characterized the Nigerian as a brilliant football player.

“Osimhen is a great player. Physically, he’s number one as a striker,” Dursun said via Habersarikirmizi.

“He has incredible sprinting power and physical quality. However, his finishing isn’t very good. Icardi’s finishing is better.”

Osimhen is currently representing Nigeria’s Super Eagles in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, or AFCON, in Morocco.

The 26-year-old will seek to lead Nigeria to victory over Tanzania in their AFCON opener on Tuesday evening.
