Ann, the best friend of actress Regina Daniels, was detained for two nights before being released.

According to reports, Ann was released on Wednesday night following the case’s postponement until March 5, 2026.

Prior to her release, Regina Daniels’ older brother Sammy revealed on his Instagram account on Wednesday that Ann was brought to court without having access to her attorney.

“Similar techniques. Not letting legal representative or family aware of the whereabouts. Not allowing anyone know the court, final stage prison. Case adjourned until March 5th,” he wrote.

But just hours after the initial tweet, Sammy announced her freedom, writing, “My T.E.D. Ann is out.”

According to ZINGTIE, Ann was detained in Lagos on Monday and transported to Abuja on a private aircraft after Regina Daniels’ estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, accused her of stealing.

Two months after Regina ended their relationship due to alleged domestic abuse, the senator made the new accusation.
