Alumnus Donates to Transform Executive MBA Program

The University of Chicago has received a $100 million gift from alumnus Konstantin Sokolov (MBA ’05) in support of the executive MBA program at the Booth School of Business. This generous donation will not only name the Sokolov Executive MBA Programme but also fund a new clinical professorship, further solidifying the programme’s reputation for excellence.

The gift will enable the programme to attract top students and sustain the available scholarships and operating funds, ensuring that future generations of business leaders can benefit from Chicago Booth’s world-class education. Sokolov expressed his pride in supporting the achievements of Chicago Booth, saying, “I am immensely proud to be able to support the incredible achievements made by Chicago Booth, an institution with a legacy of pioneering research and transformative education since its founding.

Reflecting on his time at Booth, Sokolov shared, “I am deeply honoured by the school’s decision to give my name to its world-leading Executive MBA Program. Two decades after my graduation, the lessons I learnt, the experiences I gained, and the friendships I forged at Booth remain the foundation of my career and my life.”
