Popular Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has officially ended things with her ex-boyfriend, known as Oil Money. In a series of emotional posts on her Instagram story, she opened up about the heartbreak and disappointment that led to their breakup.

Angela revealed that the man she once proudly introduced to the public was far from the person he claimed to be. She accused him of living a double life engaging in secret relationships, many of which involved her fellow actresses in the Nollywood industry. Over time, she began to see that his charm and affection were part of a calculated strategy to gain visibility, power, and access within her professional world.

What made the betrayal even more painful, she explained, was realizing that the man she trusted had used their relationship to break into the entertainment scene.

Angela said he seemed more driven by the desire for fame than any real emotional connection, using their romance to pursue women he believed could help him climb the social and industry ladder.

Visibly shaken, Angela expressed that this experience has reshaped how she views sharing her private life online. She said she would no longer post romantic partners or personal details on social media, acknowledging that being in the spotlight exposes people to manipulation especially by those with dishonest intentions.

She went on to describe Oil Money as someone shallow and obsessed with public image rather than forming meaningful bonds. In her words, he acted more like a social climber focused on attention and status than a partner genuinely invested in the relationship.

One of the most disturbing things she shared was a conversation where he allegedly admitted to wanting to seduce wealthy women in Lagos and within the Nollywood circle. That revelation, she said, erased any lingering doubts she had about his true motives. Angela made it clear that he never loved her he only saw their relationship as a way to advance himself.

Declaring that this chapter of her life is completely over, Angela emphasized that she’s moving forward with a new mindset

focused on protecting her peace and allowing only sincere people into her space. She warned that any attempt by her ex to continue sharing her photos or trying to associate with her in any way would not be tolerated.

In a final statement directed at both her ex and his supporters,

Angela said, “ Make una warn that mad man to stop posting my picture na. I blocked Casanova for a long time. I don leave am for Nollywood girls and more. Until I marry, you all will never see or even know what my man looks like again. Make una carry am, e fits you, not Legit Queen,” she said.
