APC: If you see how they treat us in Kano you will cry – Buba Galadima reveals

A prominent figure in the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Buba Galadima, has voiced his concerns about the severe difficulties his party faces, particularly in Kano State.

Galadima claimed in an interview with Punch that the APC is making every effort to make it difficult for the NNPP governor to lead Kano. According to him, the governor’s security force was scaled back, and some private citizens now have greater security protection than the state governor.

Galadima added that the APC would establish a parallel group to carry out the same task whenever the Kano governor attempted to launch a project.

Galadima claimed that this demonstrates a profound disregard for the constitution and is an outright assault on a legitimately elected administration. He cautioned that such conduct poses a threat to the nation’s democracy.

He said “If you see the way they treat us in Kano, you will cry for the country, because they made sure that even the governor does not function. They withdrew security support for him, and some private individuals have more security coverage than the government of Kano”.
