According to the All Progressives Congress (APC), President Bola Tinubu is politically superior to Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP), Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, and former President Olusegun Obasanjo.

According to APC National Publicity Director Bala Ibrahim, Tinubu is not in danger from Kwankwaso, Obi, or Obasanjo.

As he dismissed the meeting between Obasanjo, Donald Duke, and Kwankwaso, he made the statement.

On Saturday, Obasanjo met with Duke and Kwankwaso in Absolute, Ogun State. Link

According to Kwankwaso, the meeting was a courtesy call during which important national problems impacting Nigerian politics and government were deliberated.

Ibrahim, however, emphasised that Tinubu had greater political significance and influence and called the meeting “inconsequential.”

Ibrahim remarked in a statement that the combination of Obasanjo, Kwankwaso, and Duke’s force can’t bring any meaningful outcome.

He said: “But when it comes to the politics of Nigeria, particularly contemporary politics, Tinubu is not their mate.

“Tinubu is head and shoulders above them in modern politics in Nigeria. So the combination of Obasanjo, Kwankwaso, Peter Obi, and Donald Duke, who was my schoolmate, does not present a threat to Tinubu. These are people who were trashed in the last election.

“So they can have marathon meetings and meet till the end of time, but they will not present any threat to the government of APC. Who among Kwankwaso, Obasanjo, Obi, Duke was not beaten? If they are bringing angels, it’s a different story.”
