Aura V, an eight-year-old American singer, has become the first person ever to win a Grammy with individual credit.
At the 68th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, her group FYÜTCH & Aura V, a father-daughter duo, won Best Children’s Music Album for Harmony, making her the youngest winner in history.
When Aura V secured her first Grammy in 2021 at the age of nine, she set a new record, surpassing that of Blue Ivy, the daughter of Beyoncé and Jay-Z.
At the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards, Blue Ivy won the Grammy for Best Music Video for her work on Brown Skin Girl, making her one of the youngest winners in Grammy history.
The track includes appearances by her mother Beyoncé, Nigerian artist Wizkid, and Guyanese rapper Saint Jhn.
