Ademola Lookman, a Nigerian international, believes that Barcelona player Lamine Yamal will soon win the Ballon d’Or.

Although Yamal, 17, only joined Barcelona’s senior squad in 2023, he has already made a name for himself, tallying 13 goals and 17 assists in 66 games.

France Football recently crowned the Spain International and Euro 2024 champion the world’s finest young player.

When asked to choose a player who might win the Ballon d’Or in the future, Lookman told DAZN that the young athlete is on his way to becoming a successful football player.

The Super Eagles star said via Yahoo Sports, “One player who could win the Ballon d’Or in future? Lamine Yamal.”

According to ZINGTIE, Pau Cubarsí, a defender for Barcelona, had already made a similar statement on Yamal in an interview with RAC 1 earlier this month.

He claimed that a colleague from Barcelona might take home the France Football Award.
