Bauchi: PDP lacks direction, APC will take over in 2027 – Sabo Muhammad

Comrade Sabo Muhammad, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bauchi State, asserted that the PDP, the state’s dominant political party, is lacking in direction.

Muhammad rejected the PDP’s apparent strength during a banquet hosted in his honor by the Shehu Buba Vanguard on Wednesday, claiming that the APC is in a strong position to regain control in the general elections of 2027.

He blamed the PDP’s failures on what he called the lack of a strong contender who could take on the APC.

“The PDP lacks direction in terms of having a credible candidate that can match ours,” he said.

Muhammad emphasized the value of internal harmony and unity within the APC, pointing out that the party already has a strong and well-liked candidate who is familiar with the political climate of the state.

In order to ensure victory in 2027, he further disclosed that the party is making use of every resource and strategic opportunity at its disposal.

Muhammad revealed that a thorough media strategy has been created to support the APC’s candidate and forward a cohesive campaign message. Muhammad was recently hired as a new media assistant to Senator Shehu Buba, who represents Bauchi South.

He urged party members to cooperate with one another in order to accomplish their shared objectives.

Ishaq Dabo, Director General of the Shehu Buba Vanguard, stated in his remarks that the reception was organized to commemorate Muhammad’s appointment and to reiterate support for Senator Shehu Buba’s bid to become governor in 2027.

Dabo described Buba as the ideal candidate to fly the APC’s flag, citing his track record and influence.

“He has brought employment opportunities, empowered our youth, and facilitated the renovation and construction of primary schools and healthcare facilities. For the first time in Bauchi State, he also facilitated the construction of a tiled road,” Dabo said.

He said Senator Buba’s performance and legacy projects make him a sellable candidate ahead of the next general elections.
