Benue woman stabs husband to death after disagreement over sex

After a sex-related disagreement, a 29-year-old lady named Torkwase Kpile is said to have fatally stabbed her husband in Achusa Village, Makurdi Local Government Area, Benue State.

According to information obtained by ZINGTIE, the couple, who had been married for two months, she had a sexual disagreement before the woman took a kitchen knife and stabbed the man in the neck.

Before her husband, Igbah Kpile, fell, it is believed that she stabbed him multiple times.

Kpile’s wife, indignant and unrepentant, claimed that her husband was bothering her for sex while neighbours, drawn by his scream, hurried into the house and met him in a pool of blood.

Kpile was sent to a neighbouring clinic in Makurdi, but he passed away on the road, and the attending physician declared him dead when he arrived.

The police have started looking into the murder, but in the interim, the suspect, Torkwase, has been on the run.

Despite multiple calls to her phone, SP Catheren Anene, the spokeswoman for the Benue State Police Command, could not be reached to confirm the event.
