For hundreds of thousands of immigrants whose temporary protected status is about to expire early in the administration of President-elect Donald Trump, President Joe Biden’s administration is taking action to extend protections.

The New York Times said Friday that the latest action by the Biden administration is an attempt to hinder Trump’s ability to carry out his planned large deportation measures, citing U.S. officials and papers.

This comes after Trump appointed a number of people to implement his promises to deport large numbers of illegal immigrants from the United States.

Trump designated two officials, Rodney S. Scott and Caleb Vitello, to lead his planned reform of the U.S. immigration system, with an emphasis on mass deportations, and appointed Tom Homan as his “border czar.”

According to ZINGTIE, if Trump is elected to a second term, he has promised to conduct the biggest deportation campaign in American history.

The Biden administration’s decision to permit hundreds of radical Islamic terrorists to enter the United States has also drawn criticism from Trump.

About one million immigrants from 17 countries are currently supported under TPS, a program that permits people from nations that are undergoing conflict or natural disasters to live and work in the United States.
