BREAKING: Popular Abuja hotel is on fire

The Focus Holiday Inn, a well-known lodging establishment in the Nigerian city of Abuja, has caught fire.

According to a hotel employee who spoke to ZINGTIE, the fire began at around three in the morning.

According to the official, a guest went down to the reception area without clothing to alert staff to the fire.

Beginning in a section of the three-story building, the fire has spread to other areas of the structure.

Officials from the fire department received multiple calls, but they failed to arrive promptly. Nevertheless, firefighters had already arrived and were attempting to extinguish the fire at the time of this report.
