According to the Telegraph, an attack by the Ukrainians sank a Russian ship that was carrying fuel.

The ship was transporting thirty fuel tanks when the fire started in the southern Krasnodar port of Kavkaz, Russia, according to the article.

Structures near the port and jetty were also damaged, and any possible casualties were being evaluated.

According to the report, more than a hundred personnel were needed to put out the fire. Social media images revealed dark smoke plumes emerging from the ship.

On Friday, it was also revealed that since the beginning of its invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, Russia has lost 605,330 soldiers.

11,190 people have died in the past day alone, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
