After a horrific vehicle accident in London, a Saudi prince passed away at the age of 36 after spending more than 20 years in a coma.

At the age of 15, Prince Al-Waleed bin Khalid Al-Saud was involved in a terrible accident in 2005 that resulted in internal bleeding and a brain hemorrhage.

Known as the “Sleeping Prince,” he was maintained in the hospital on a ventilator but never fully recovered consciousness.

In a tragic post on X today, Prince Khaled bin Talal Al Saud, the eldest son of Prince Al-Waleed, acknowledged his passing.

Quoting a verse from the Quran, he wrote: “With hearts believing in Allah’s will and decree, and with deep sorrow and sadness, we mourn our beloved son: Prince Al-Waleed bin Khaled bin Talal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, may Allah have mercy on him, who passed away today.”
