The MTN Go MAD Campus Invasion brought a wave of excitement to the University of Benin (UNIBEN) from September 11 to 13, transforming the campus into a melting pot of entertainment, creativity, and youth empowerment.

For three days, students immersed themselves in interactive workshops, entrepreneurial showcases, dance battles, and gaming competitions that kept crowds buzzing. But the grand finale on Saturday drew the most attention, as life-changing prizes, including a brand-new car, were unveiled

One of the biggest winners was Edomwonyi Osariemen, a 200-level student from the Faculty of Engineering, who left the event in disbelief after his raffle ticket landed him a 2025 Alsvin Mikano car.

“I still can’t believe this happened to me. While I participated in the raffle draw, I only came to enjoy the event with my friends, and now I’m leaving with a brand-new car! This has changed everything for me,” he exclaimed with excitement.

Other lucky participants also went home with prizes ranging from laptops to MTN Mifi devices and airtime vouchers. Student participant Daniel shared his joy despite not winning the grand prize.

“I didn’t win the car, but I won a laptop, and it means a lot. Even beyond the prizes, this event gave us confidence to showcase our talents and connect with opportunities,” he admitted.

The UNIBEN edition marked the third stop on MTN’s nationwide university tour in 2025, drawing massive participation. Over three days, the initiative engaged more than a million young people through entrepreneurial booths, creative showcases, and fun-packed activities.

With its rising reputation as one of the most talked-about campus events in Nigeria, the MTN Go MAD Campus Invasion is set to storm the University of Kano next, promising even more thrills and opportunities for students.
