With 243 members present, the House of Representatives adopted President Tinubu’s decision on Thursday by a voice vote.

Additionally, the House recommended changes to the proclamation.

In order to alleviate the situation and bring peace back to Rivers State, the House suggested that a national committee be established.

Second, within six months, the National Assembly ought to assume control of the state Assembly’s operations.
