Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has been given 48 hours by the Pan Delta Forum (PANDEF) Youth Wing to apologize for his derogatory remarks on the Ijaw nation and PANDEF leaders.

Wike’s remarks infuriated Doben Donyegha, national president of the youth wing, particularly since they were made less than twenty-four hours after PANDEF leaders met with President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

PANDEF Youths’ Main Demands:

1. Apology from Wike – They insist that he must publicly retract his statement.

2. Sack Wike from the Cabinet – They have urged President Tinubu to remove him from office, claiming they no longer trust him.

3. Investigate Wike’s Alleged Land Grabbing – They called on the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB) to probe him over accusations of illegally acquiring land in the FCT.
