According to Reuben Abati, a former presidential assistant, American artist Nicki Minaj is seeking influence in response to her planned address at the United Nations (UN) today over the claims of Christian genocide in Nigeria.

He proposed that Tiwa Savage should defend Nigeria on national television at the same time as Nicki Minaj on Tuesday.

According to ZINGTIE, rapper Minaj and US ambassador to the UN Mike Waltz will collaborate this Tuesday to draw attention to Christian persecution in Nigeria.

Waltz, who announced the news on X, claimed he was using Nicki Minaj’s enormous platform to draw attention to what he called crimes against Christians in Nigeria.

Nicki Minaj, who has previously criticized Nigerian authorities for doing little to nothing to halt the murder of Christians in the nation, thanked them for the chance to appear on the program.

The artist and the ambassador will speak on Tuesday in New York over what is purportedly happening in Nigeria.

Reuben Abati believes the rapper is not suited for such a role, nevertheless. On Arise News, he stated, “Nicki Minaj said she wants Americans where there is religious freedom. My response was that, look, Nicki Minaj is a rapper from Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. She should just concentrate on her Anaconda music, her rap music, and what is it called… Barbs.

“As far as I’m concerned, she’s chasing clout, even if she has been invited to this forum by a White House advisor and also by Michael Waltz.

“I think what we should do, since now the Americans are adding influencers and all of that, is that we also have influencers here. If I were to advise on strategy, by that time, when Nicki Minaj is speaking, we should put Tiwa Savage on national television for her to express patriotic opinions about her country.

“To say whatever she wants to say, because it’s not a matter for people chasing clout, looking for influence and all that.

“We can also have Tiwa Savage or other people defend their country, whatever their belief is.”
