Real Madrid will travel to play fourth division team Deportiva Minera in the third round of this season’s Copa del Rey.

After defeating Alaves on penalties, Minera advanced and will now play host to the La Liga winners at their 2,000-seat stadium.

Barcelona will play UD Barbastro, who eliminated Espanyol last Thursday and are also in the fourth division of Spanish football.

Madrid and Barcelona, along with champions Athletic Club and Mallorca, just made it to the third round of the competition, but they are two of the four clubs that will compete in the Spanish Supercopa next month.

The matches are scheduled for January, with Mallorca playing away at Pontevedra and Athletic traveling to UD Logroñés.
