Dangote crashes price of diesel to N1000 per litre

The price of diesel has been confirmed to drop from N1200 to N1,000 per litre by Dangote Petroleum Refinery.

The refinery said in a statement that it supplied diesel at a much lower price of N1,200 per litre three weeks ago, which was almost 30% less than the prior market price of roughly N1,600 per litre.

It clarified that a significant drop in fuel prices is anticipated to have a favourable impact on every aspect of the economy and lower the nation’s high inflation rate.
