Davido dominates as Spotify unveils top 30 Nigerian songs in first half of 2025

Spotify, the popular streaming platform, has released the list of the top 30 Nigerian songs with the highest global streams during the first half of 2025.

The compilation includes tracks by Nigerian musicians as well as songs featuring Nigerian artists that have garnered the most listens outside Nigeria.

Davido led the pack with nine songs from his recent album, ‘5ive,’ making the list, while Burna Boy followed closely with five entries.

Despite this, Rema claimed the number one spot with his track “Baby (Is It A Crime),” succeeded by Shallipopi’s “Laho” and Davido’s “With You,” which features Omah Lay.

Ranking fourth and fifth were Chella’s “My Darling” and Burna Boy’s “Tatata,” featuring Travis Scott, respectively.

Rounding out the top ten are Frenna and Shallipopi’s “Zazaza,” Coldplay’s “We Pray” featuring Burna Boy, Burna Boy’s “Update,” Shallipopi’s “Laho II” featuring Burna Boy, and Davido’s “Be There Still.”
