Democracy – Yunusa Tanko reveals hard truth against Nigeria Govt

Yunusa Tanko, the National Coordinator of the Obidient Movement, claims that the Nigerian government is purposefully destroying democracy in the nation.

Tanko made the accusation on Monday during a ZINGTIE-monitored interview on Arise Television.

He called on the world community to intervene and resolve the matter before Nigerian democracy is completely destroyed.

“The government of Nigeria is deliberately killing democracy. International communities need to come in and deal with with the issue

“Nigeria is the most populous Black nation in the world, and if anything happens to its democracy, others will suffer for it.

“Because you are in power now, you repeat the same mistake that other people have already made, that does not grow the system.

“But you could also agree with me that we have a majority of people who are in government, and democracy is the best of all kinds of government at the moment that we all know, except for the process that is making it look very ugly and totally unacceptable to Nigeria,” he said.
