Dino Melaye reveals how Elon Musk is indirectly the US president

Former Kogi West Senator, Dino Melaye, has referred to Elon Musk, the head of the United States Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), as America’s “shadow president.”

Melaye stated that Musk is also functioning in the role of the US Vice President.

On X, Melaye posted: “Elon Musk is the real shadow president and operating vice president of the United States of America.”

It’s important to note that Trump appointed the tech mogul to lead DOGE to enhance the efficiency of America’s government ministries and agencies.

Under Musk’s leadership, DOGE has continued to implement cost-cutting measures across several US federal agencies, including health, education, the Treasury Department, and defense.

Musk recently issued a warning to US workers, threatening to fire those who fail to respond to their emails.

On Wednesday, President Trump held his first cabinet meeting since taking office, with Musk, who serves as an adviser, in attendance.

During the meeting, Trump asked Musk to discuss the progress of DOGE’s cost-cutting initiatives.

Musk said, “I actually just call myself a humble tech support hero.

“As crazy as it sounds, that is almost a literal description of the work of the DOGE team: what they are doing is helping fix the government computer systems.”
