Many were taken aback by the unexpected trust that emerged in Sabo, Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, on Monday.

When his bride disappeared from home the morning of their wedding, the groom was left abandoned and in shock on what should have been a happy wedding day.

The bride’s parents stepped in and convinced the groom to wed one of her bridesmaids in order to save the ceremony and the shame that came with his bride’s unexplained disappearance.

The replacement bride, a refined and polite young lady, took up the part with less drama, transforming what may have been a catastrophe and a shameful occasion into a singular tale of love.

The intended husband and bride are shown in the opening frame of the photos, before he was taken aback when she fled her house on the wedding day.

In the second frame, the new bride and groom display their happy disposition.

In the third clip, one of the bride’s friends is also seen unknowingly taking pictures with the groom; she had no idea that she would end up becoming the bride.

The unexpected is more bizarre than imagination and fiction.
