Alan Smith, who used to play for Arsenal, is supporting his former club in their bid to clinch the Premier League trophy.
Last weekend, the Gunners experienced a reduction of their top-of-the-table lead to four points after enduring a 3-2 defeat against Manchester United at the Emirates.
The outcome led to pundits and fans questioning the mentality of Mikel Arteta’s men in the title race.
In a conversation with Sky Sports, Smith emphasized that it was merely a setback.
“They have the best squad in the league, there’s no doubt about that,” he said.
“I think Arteta might just need to make some small changes to his tactics and maybe bring in some new players.”
This Wednesday, Arsenal will play against Kairat Almaty in their final Champions League group stage match, and then they will head to Leeds for a league match this weekend.
