Paul Merson, a former Arsenal player, has emphasized that Chelsea will not qualify for the UEFA Champions League if they do not win their next three Premier League matches.

During a recent interview with Sportskeeda, Merson mentioned this in anticipation of Chelsea’s Premier League match against Wolves on Saturday.

The next three Premier League fixtures for Chelsea are versus Wolves, Leeds United, and Burnley.

After 24 matches, the Blues are in fifth place in the Premier League standings.

“I have not seen a run like that in my life. If Arsenal had this run of fixtures, I would be worried about them winning the league,” Merson said.

“That is why I think if Chelsea don’t win their next three, they won’t qualify for the Champions League next season.”
