Manchester United manager, Ruben Amorim, made it clear that Marcus Rashford is not currently his player.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference ahead of United’s Premier League clash with Nottingham Forest on Tuesday, Amorim addressed the situation regarding Rashford, who had previously fallen out of favor with him at Manchester United.
Rashford was loaned to Aston Villa for the remainder of the season, where he has been performing well, including scoring a brace in Villa’s 3-0 FA Cup victory over Preston on Sunday.
When asked about Rashford, Amorim responded: “I am focused on my team and my players. Rashford is not my player at the moment. But of course, I am happy when our players are playing well on loan.”
Amorim also gave an update on Ayden Heaven’s injury, stating that it’s not serious. “He’s not ready yet, but he will play again this season, for sure,” Amorim added.
