Former church minister who quit Christianity shares 2 things she misses about her former religion

A former church minister, @thatbirkinbad on TikTok, has stated that she misses two aspects of her previous Christian beliefs.

In a TikTok post, the former Christian claimed that since she abandoned Christianity, she no longer misses it.

In a touching video, the former Christian described how she personally came to know God and how a particular pastor impacted her Christian faith after she returned to Nigeria.

She claimed that she had read the Bible twice and was on the verge of doing so a third time when she began to lose her faith.

“I used to study the Bible for like 2, 3, 4 hours. I have read the Bible from scratch two times. As a matter of fact, I was in the middle of repeating the Bible again just before I lost my faith and I just couldn’t continue after that.”

The woman stated that her intimate relationship with the Christian God was the first aspect of her previous Christian faith that she missed.

“I went from seeing the Christian God as this big scary guy that was judging me all the time, and that is as a result of starting off in a fire fire church when I was young, to developing an inti.mate relationship with the Christian God and knowing him as father, as abaa. That is a more int.imate term for the Christian God”

She continued by saying that she still misses serving others, which she liked doing when she was a Christian. She talked about the impact and emotions she has when she serves others.

She responded in the comments section when asked what the “eureka moment” was that caused her to abandon Christianity:

“A former pastor telling me the abuse I endured was a part of “god’s will” – that was it for me. I’m good.”
