In it’s bid to eradicate illiteracy, poverty, and hunger, the Touch of Valentine Foundation, a non-profit and non-governmental organization, has been empowering individuals and communities across Nigeria. Last December, the foundation visited the Ekwulu community in Anambra State, where it provided business capital to over 20 individuals for start-ups and existing businesses.

This initiative is part of the foundation’s efforts to support those in need, with over 500 people benefiting from its programs so far. The foundation’s founder, Mr. Mbamalu Valentine, believes that it is his responsibility to give back to society, especially during these challenging economic times.

The Touch of Valentine Foundation has been contributing to national development for over a decade, with it’s initiatives taking various forms to benefit Nigerian youths. Recently, the foundation organized the “Face of Doings Bitters Reality TV Show,” where the winner received prizes worth N30 million, including a car, a plot of land, and a trip to Spain.

In addition to these initiatives, the foundation has also offered scholarships to over 40 students in university, secondary, and primary schools. This move aims to support these students in acquiring education, which will enable them to improve their lives and those of their families.

During a media chat in Lagos, Mr. Mbamalu Valentine, founder of the Touch of Valentine Foundation and CEO of Red Pastures Limited, producers of Doings Bitters herbal drinks, stated, “The motive for this is to express my love for humanity and insert efforts to pull people out of poverty. As the Lord blesses my business, we don’t have an option but to bless humanity. That is more reason we are on earth to help those who can’t help themselves.

Mr. Valentine, a lawyer and business mogul with achievements in various industries, including oil and gas, hospitality, real estate, construction, and manufacturing, added, “We have been helping humanity for over a decade now, and we have built houses and business start-ups for over 100 people in the past years.”

He further expressed his passion to build over 1,000 houses for the less privileged and make over 1,000 people millionaires. Mr. Valentine hopes that wealthy Nigerians will follow his lead in supporting the less privileged, making Nigeria a better place to live.
