The Professor Isa Pantami Foundation (PIP Foundation) has unveiled its third training program, offering free courses in phone repair and artificial intelligence (AI) to more than 10,000 young Nigerians.

In a statement signed by Prof. Suleiman Mohammed on behalf of the foundation, the program was described as a forward-looking effort to help Nigerians harness the opportunities of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

“AI and other emerging technologies are expected to create 170 million new jobs globally,” the statement reads, citing data from the World Economic Forum (WEF). “We must ensure that our citizens are prepared to benefit from these opportunities.”

Founded by Professor Isa Ali Pantami (Majidadin Daular Usmaniyya), a former Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, the PIP Foundation remains committed to equipping Nigerians with essential skills at no financial cost.

Beyond technical expertise, the foundation emphasized that the programme is a strategic step toward reducing unemployment and fostering innovation in the digital economy.

“This initiative reflects Professor Pantami’s unwavering commitment to lift communities through education and technology,” a representative stated. “We are not just training individuals; we are building a future where our youth can create opportunities for themselves and others.”

The application portal for residents of Gombe State opened on Monday, August 25, 2025, and will close on Sunday, August 31, 2025. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply via the official registration link, while training dates for other states will be announced in due course.

The PIP Foundation has previously executed several impactful projects, including providing JAMB and university scholarships, as well as supporting community-based initiatives—further underscoring its mission to improve lives and expand opportunities across Nigeria
