PETROAN, the Petroleum Products Retail Outlets Owners Association of Nigeria, has declared its intention to enter into a direct purchase deal with three refineries in Nigeria.

This was disclosed in a notice and signed by the National President of PETROAN, Billy Gillis-Harry, and the Secretary, Adedibu Aderibegbe

The announcement states that in order to guarantee that petroleum products are reasonably priced for Nigerians all throughout the country, the agreement is anticipated to begin on Wednesday. The notice said.

This is to notify you that PETROAN will be signing a Sales Purchase Agreement (SPA) with Oasis Petrochemical Products Limited, a Refined Petroleum Products Offtake and Sales Agreement with Claridge Petroleum Company Limited, and a Sales Purchase Agreement (SPA) with Allegiance Energy and Power Limited, respectively.”

This comes as PETROAN, in its New Year message, hinted that in 2025 the price of petro may reduce further.
