Hardship: Christian leaders announce Lagos, Abuja protest over economic situation in Nigeria

Prophet Bisi Olujobi, the spiritual head of Wisdom Church of Christ International in Ketu, Lagos, is leading a coalition of Christian leaders in a planned “call to action walk.”

The announcement was made in a press release that Prince Ayo Adegboye, Olujobi’s media adviser, released on Monday.

The demonstration would be held at Eagle Square, FCT, on March 28 and at Freedom Park in Ojota on March 21, under the aegis of the Federation of Concerned Prophets.

ZINGTIE reported that Olujobi disclosed his group was getting ready to hold a non-religious, non-ethnic protest in February.

The purpose of the rallies is to draw President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration’s attention to the hardship that Nigerians are experiencing.

“This protest will be one of its kind in the history of this nation because many believe that the responsibilities of clergymen are limited to the pulpit.

“A six-page Handout of Demands and Advice is meant to be delivered to the President for onward consideration and utilization,” the statement noted.

Additionally, the coalition revealed what it called “Plan B,” which is the nation’s network of over seventy prophets’ plans to pray for divine intervention on behalf of Nigeria.
