Heavy blow on APC in Kaduna as over 200 members dump party for ADC

More than 200 members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Kaduna State’s Gubuchi Ward, Makarfi LGA, have left the party ahead of the general elections in 2027.

On Monday, the African Democratic Congress, APC, welcomed the defectors.

According to ZINGTIE, a number of people have defected from the ruling party, the Peoples Democratic Party, the PDP, the Labour Party, and the LP to the ADC since the coalition of opposition leaders decided to run on the party’s platform in the upcoming election.

Defectors into ADC have been welcomed by opposition leaders Rotimi Amaechi and Nasir El-Rifai, former governors of Rivers and Kaduna States and members of the opposition alliance.

In Benue State’s Agatu Local Government Area, at least 10,000 members of the PDP, APC, and other political parties switched to the ADC on Saturday.
