Actress Yvonne Okoro, who is Ghanaian-Nigerian, has stated that she likes Nigerian guys to their Ghanaian counterparts.

She clarified that her preference for Nigerian men stems from both their romantic nature and their generosity.

Speaking with her coworker Majid Michel on a recent episode of the Ghanaian television program Showbiz 360, Okoro stated that her ideal partner should be both romantic and giving.

“Nigerian men or Ghanaian men? Nigerian men are better. I didn’t say Nigerian men because of money. That’s not the only thing. Money is there but love, affection is very important. Because if they give me money and there’s no love and they’re very disrespectful, I wouldn’t want that.

“I want the whole package. That’s my kind of man. I want everything.”

Okoro was born to a Ghanaian mother and a Nigerian father in Tamale, Ghana.

She has acted in films from both Nollywood and Ghollywood.
