Nigerian artist Oladotun Alade, widely known as Dotman, has expressed deep regret over his decision to move to the United States from Nigeria.
The Star Life hitmaker opened up about facing personal struggles since relocating abroad, revealing that he has been dealing with emotional challenges in silence.
Dotman shared that he has not seen his children in nearly two years and now wishes he had never left Nigeria.
“Today, I regret ever deciding to leave Nigeria and move to the US. I have been struggling so much in silence. [I] haven’t seen my kids for about two years now,” a post on his Instagram page read in part.
In recent years, a growing number of Nigerian entertainers have chosen to relocate overseas. Notable names among them include Asake, Eldee, Dr. Sid, Genevieve Nnaji, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, Rita Dominic, Tacha, Uche Jombo, and Emeka Ike, among others.
