‘I was framed’ – Lil Frosh begs Davido for career revival after assault case

Nigerian musician Lil Frosh, a former Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) signee, has turned to the internet to implore his former manager to give him another chance.

According to ZINGTIE, Lil Frosh’s ex-girlfriend, Gift Camille, accused him of assaulting her in 2020.

In a string of social media posts, Michael, Camille’s brother, claimed that Lil Frosh had beaten Camille multiple times.

He posted images of his sister’s severely broken face.

After that, the singer was placed under arrest and placed on remand in Ikoyi prison by a Yaba magistrate court.

In response to the news, Davido ended Lil Frosh’s recording deal with DMW, his record company.

After an out-of-court settlement, Camille later abandoned her lawsuit against Lil Frosh in 2022.

But the singer insisted on being innocent in a post on his Instagram page on Saturday, pleading with Davido for another opportunity to bring his career back to life.

“God knows I didn’t beat Gemini; I was framed, I was blackmailed. I still can’t get my career after all I paid her because of the lies that were told against me.

“Nobody gave me listening ears. I tried to explain to my ex-boss @davido, but he didn’t want to listen because of his zero tolerance for hitting women. Help me beg Davido to give me a chance again.”
