Iran’s ambassador to Lebanon, Mojtaba Amani, was severely injured during a horrific attack in Lebanon, losing an eye among other grave injuries.

According to the Daily Post, Hezbollah terrorists destroyed hand-held radios and pagers throughout southern Lebanon.

One of the worst days in the nation since cross-border hostilities with Israel started almost a year ago was the outcome of the occurrence.

At least 14 people died in the attacks, while hundreds more were injured, including funeral attendees.

Witnesses described a generalized panic in which people were screaming in agony and ambulances were racing to emergency rooms.

There were concerns about a potential escalation in the region following the blasts that targeted Hezbollah communication gear.

Israel, which is claimed to be the source of the strikes, would face retaliation, according to Hezbollah.

Israel and Hezbollah are at higher odds now that the incident has occurred, raising fears of a possible regional conflict.

The New York Times reports that Iranian ambassador Mojtaba Amani’s pager detonated during the incident, leaving him critically injured in the other eye and losing one of his eyes.

Following the attack in Lebanon, Mojtaba Amani, the Iranian ambassador, is seen in a video making the rounds on social media with blood on his clothes.

He is scheduled to be sent to Tehran by the Revolutionary Guards Corps of Iran for medical attention. While Israeli officials say nothing, security sources indicate that Mossad is involved.
