The names of the 33 hostages that Hamas plans to free have been made public.
On Friday, Israeli commentator Hananya Naftali shared the names and photos of the 33 hostages on his verified X handle.
Naftali disclosed that none of the hostages’ family members know who would be alive, injured, or dead when they are released.
He wrote: “BREAKING: The names of 33 hostages set to be released in phase one of the ceasefire are now public.
“Families are holding their breath—no one knows who will return alive, injured, or dead. This is just the beginning of weeks of anguish. Israel needs your prayers.”
None of the relatives of the hostages are aware of who will be alive, hurt, or dead upon their release, Naftali revealed.
There is an arrangement for the release of the Israeli hostages in return for Palestinian detainees.
The accord is due to take effect on Sunday.
Donald Trump, the US president-elect, has taken responsibility for the deal, which includes a truce between Hamas militants and Israeli forces.
Trump asserted that his team’s efforts made sure the deal was reached during talks for the release of the hostages.
The agreement specifies an initial 42-day truce during which the 33 hostages are scheduled to be released, accompanying the departure of Israeli forces from Gaza’s population centers.
In order to discuss a long-term solution to the problem, a second phase is suggested.
