‘Jesus disrupted my DJ career plans’ — DJ Cuppy

DJ Cuppy, the renowned disc jockey and daughter of Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola, has shared that her encounter with Jesus Christ has had a significant impact on her career.

As a reminder, Cuppy committed her life to God in August 2024 at the Holy Trinity Brompton in London.

Reflecting on her spiritual journey in a post on X, Cuppy discussed the personal transformation that shifted her life’s path.

“Was thinking this evening. Jesus really disrupted my DJ career plans o. But in the BEST way. ‘Booked and busy’ means nothing if you’re not walking in purpose.”

The 31-year-old has spent much of the past decade establishing herself in both the Nigerian and global music scenes.
