President Bola Ahmed Tinubu should anticipate reciprocity from Jigawa residents in the upcoming 2027 elections, according to Jigawa State Governor Umar Namadi.

Speaking during the official opening of the distribution of ATM cards to recipients of the Federal Government’s second phase of the Cash Transfer program in Dutse, the governor made this claim.

He pointed out that in order to combat poverty and hunger nationwide, the Federal Government has launched a number of policies and initiatives under the National Social Investment Programme (NSIP), such as Cash Transfer, N-Power, School Feeding, and the Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme (GEEP).

He clarified that around 23,000 underprivileged individuals in the state will gain from the second phase of the Conditional Cash Transfer program, which will provide them with 75,000 naira each.

According to him, “The launch of the second phase is in line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s ‘Renewed Hope Initiative,’ aimed at supporting the less privileged in society to improve their businesses.”

“Our people have a good culture of repaying good deeds with good. I am sure the people of Jigawa will pay you back for what you have been doing for them.

“Therefore, on behalf of the beneficiaries in Jigawa State, we extend our appreciation to the Federal Government under Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the support, and we are confident that more of these initiatives will come.

In order to ensure that Jigawa State prospers under Tinubu’s leadership, Governor Namadi underlined his dedication to cultivating a mutually beneficial relationship with the Federal Government.

He also reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to policies that improve the welfare of Jigawa citizens and pledged unwavering support for national development initiatives.
