JUST IN: Herbert Wigwe, wife, son’s corpses arrive Nigeria for burial [PHOTOS]

The bodies of Herbert Wigwe, the late chief executive officer of Access Bank, and his son and wife have arrived in Nigeria.

On Friday, the Wigwes’ corpses landed at Port Harcourt International Airport from the US.

The trio’s funeral will take place on Saturday at Isiokpo, the town where he was born, in the Ikwerre LGA of Rivers State.

In a helicopter crash near the US border between Nevada and California last month, Wigwe, his wife, son, and Abimbola Ogunbanjo—the former group chairman of Nigerian Exchange Group Plc (NGX Group)—all perished.

Tributes to Wigwe have been flooding in since their passing as supporters have remembered his acts during his lifetime.
