JUST IN: Landlord marries female tenant after wife repeatedly locked him out for returning home late

After his wife constantly barred him from their house for being late, a Nigerian landlord has disclosed how he eventually married his benevolent female tenant.

The individual known as @tort_walec posted this on the well-known social media site X (previously Twitter).

He claims that the pivotal moment occurred in 2017 when his wife locked him out once more, but this time his lovely and kind female tenant let him in.

“In 2017, my wife locked me outside, but our beautiful, kind-hearted female tenant opened her door for me. In short, she’s not a tenant anymore. We now have three children,” he wrote.

The landlord also mentioned that he had decided to end the marriage since his wife had locked him out more than 20 times.

“That was the over 20th time,” he added.

His remarks coincide with a continuing discussion on X on a wife’s authority to bar her spouse from the house for arriving home late.

Since then, the message has gone viral, eliciting a range of responses from users who poured their opinions into the comment box.
