Kanu thanks Enyimba fans for massive support

Since taking over as chairman, Kanu Nwankwo of Enyimba has expressed gratitude to the club’s supporters for their support.

Kanu praised his followers for sticking with his government through its rough patches.

This was revealed by the former Super Eagles forward in a thank-you note to the team.

He said that the encouragement keeps him motivated to give the squad his all.

In his statement, he said, “We want to thank our fans for standing with us throughout since taking charge of the club,” 

“Personally, I want to thank you for standing by us during difficult periods, your support and love are a motivation for us to do more for the club.”

Zingtie noted that this year, seasoned club administrator Felix Anyansi-Agu was replaced by Kanu Nwankwo.

The nine-time NPFL champions have been rebranded with multimillionaire sponsorship deals because to Kanu’s continuing improvement.

However, the Aba giants have failed on the field and have not advanced past the CAF Champions League group round.

Enyimba performed poorly in the inaugural African Football League as well.
